Thanks for coming.
I’m a long story but here’s the short version.
After school, I studied journalism. Then I dabbled in pr and settled in tv. I was a producer on Good Morning Australia with Bert Newton, the TV Week Logie Awards, MasterChef, My Kitchen Rules and some other series on the small screen.
In 2007 I swapped reality tv for reality. I took a year off to live in the UK and travel a bit of Europe. I wanted to see what it felt like to work less and play more. It felt good.
When I came home, I decided to step away from tv in favour of freelance writing and general marketing/comms.
Whilst we’re discussing u-turns, you should probably know that I don’t have a car and very rarely get behind the wheel. So if we’re to be friends, I might need a lift occasionally.
You should also know I love jewellery. Costume, couture, cobbled together from old stones and microphones…it’s likely to be in my stash somewhere.
I’m always on the lookout for real gems – of the haberdashery or human kind.
Suffice to say, herders and hoarders are welcome here.
Thanks for listening,
Tonia (with an eye)
