St Pat’s day in Leonard St

green1Happy Saint Patrick’s Day folks. I’ll spare you the talk of Guinness and four leaf clovers, to be sure.

Instead, I’ve just whipped up a green smoothie* and done a whip-round my wardrobe looking for anything of a greenish hue. Who knew this lovely little Leonard St number would be just the ticket this Tuesday.

Ok, she’s not quite a shamrock green. I’m guessing she’s more on the khaki end of the colour wheel and before you ask, no they’re not leprechauns in that playful motif…maybe raccoons or perhaps some kind of cartoon? There’s plenty more of this crafty creature over here.

To be clear, this post is not sponsored. I’m just a big fan of this frock. I’m wondering if the mullet was its muse – after all, it’s long at the back and short at the front. Scott and Charlene, where have you been?

It totally works. On its first outing, I swear I felt positively bridal thanks to that hem trailing behind moi’s behind. Then there’s that plunging back – acting almost as a little mobile air-conditioner, if you will.

What a breath of fresh air to wear. Call it the luck of the Irish but this little leprechaun is looking forward to a very happy St Pat’s day. Hope you are too.

Does your wardrobe feature much green or is it rarely seen?

Linking up today with Essentially Jess for I Blog On Tuesdays.

*no green smoothies were harmed in the making of this post.

I have very little green! I do have a gorgeous green cardy, but it was too warm for it today.
I wore khaki shorts though, and had some midori. Does that count? 🙂

Cheers Jess and happy St Pat’s day! (p.s. I can’t wait for winter – bring on the green cardies I say)

What a gorgeous dress!!! I love the mullet style lol!! I think you should become a fashion blogger. Your descriptions of clothing are quite hilarious 🙂 Green is my favourite colour, but I don’t actually have a lot of it in my wardrobe anymore. I wore a greenish blue top today which did the trick. Hope you had a fab St Pat’s day.

Aw, thanks Renee. Actually picked up this frock down in Melbourne back in Jan. I’m with you on not having much green in the wardrobe – a good excuse for another shopping spree, me thinks.

Thanks Bec. I’ve only had this green number for a couple of months but golly she’s getting a work out. Will keep an eye out for the green stars in your wardrobe too.

A happy coincidence! The luck of the Irish strikes again.
